Positions

Customer Service Representative

Must enjoy fast paced work environment and have strong problem solving, telephone and data entry skills. Excellent communication skills are required to handle incoming customer calls. Prior customer service experience required. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing Product Information
  • Quote & Order Entry
  • Expediting

 

Hydraulic Technician

A two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience is required. Fluid Power Certification is desired. Strong mechanical interest and aptitude is a must. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assembly, conversion, and repair of hydraulic pumps, motors, and hydrostatic drive systems.
  • Assist with hydraulic power unit and electro-hydraulic proportional valve assembly and testing.
  • May require some site visits for field service, repair, test or start-up of customer systems.

 

Inside Sales / Technical Service

Two years of fluid power experience is required, and a two-year technical degree and Fluid Power Certification is desired. The successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks. Must have interpersonal and technical aptitude to process customer inquiries and provide support for our customer service and outside sales representatives. Product training includes attending supplier product schools and working with our engineering and technical support staff.

 

Outside Sales Trainee

A college graduate or near college graduate with limited outside sales experience who has the interpersonal and technical skills required for a successful career in outside sales.

Technical interest and aptitude are necessary and a technical degree and fluid power experience are preferred for this position.   A one-to-three year training program includes industry sales, technical schools, and supplier product schools. Company training includes time with all departments, concentrating in service, technical support, engineering, customer service, and outside sales.

Company training will require initial residence in the Cleveland, Ohio area, with the flexibility for a territory assignment in our market area later.

 

Outside Sales

Outside Sales will develop business through new and existing accounts. The primary tasks will involve supplying cost effective, innovative solutions to customers in order to increase sales, focusing on the products of the manufacturers we represent.  Duties include:

  • Maintaining and developing new business at existing customer accounts.
  • Identifying new accounts in primary territory and developing sales plans to increase sales.
  • Qualification and follow up on sales leads.
  • Coordinating efforts with customer service to assure the highest quality of service is provided to customers. On-going tasks include monitoring schedule and lead-time changes; reviewing inventory status; and evaluation of credit status and payment terms. Work with CFO to pre-qualify prospective accounts and assist in keeping established accounts current.
  • Working with supplier sales force to mutually and successfully obtain business.
  • Periodic surveys with the Sales Manager of major accounts to identify additional product and service needs.
  • Maintaining primary account information in the company CRM system.
  • Continuing education, certification, vendor schools and sales training.
