Application Engineer

Introduction
This position is within our applications engineering department. The department’s work is focused on mobile equipment’s hydraulic, electronic control, and power transmission systems. Projects range from the component level through fully integrated system design and sub-system interaction.

B.E./B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
Field Sales Trainee
A college or near college graduate with limited outside sales experience who has the interpersonal and technical skills required for a successful career in field sales.
Technical interest and aptitude are a necessity and a technical degree and fluid power experience are preferred for this position. The sales and technical training program would include industry programs and supplier product schools as well as company training in all technical and support departments. The training program requires an initial residence in the Cleveland, Ohio area, with the flexibility for a an alternative territory assignment in our market area. Position is initially compensated by salary, leading to an excellent sales commission program.
Field Sales
Field Sales will develop and maintain business through new and existing accounts. The primary tasks will involve supplying cost effective, innovative solutions to customers in order to increase sales. Territory management duties include: develop product sales plans on OEM target accounts to increase sales; qualification and follow up on sales leads; coordinating with the customer service and accounting departments to assure the highest quality service is provided to customers; keeping computer system updated with current contacts, activity and forecasts; and working with supplier sales force to mutually and successfully obtain business. Continuing sales education, fluid power certification and attending vendor schools will be required.
Customer Service Representative
Excellent communication skills are required to handle incoming customer inquiries. Responsibilities include: providing product information; quote and order entry; order expediting and follow-up. Prior customer service experience is required.
